By far my favorite race of the entire weekend, I got to follow a very talented Porsche 944 driver around the track. Thanks to his experienced driving, I learned some of the best racing lines for a 944, and was able to substantially improve my lap times. 🙏 Being our first time with NASA and at OIR, we went through a 3-day comprehensive Competition School and got our racing license. 🥳 Many more videos coming soon!

For the first time in over a decade, we ran out to St. Joe State park to ride single track trails through sand, clay, dirt, mud, and lots and lots of rocks. Considering this is the first time I have gone dirt bike riding in over 10 years, I don’t feel bad at all for the day’s 13mph average speed. Haha. ^_^ Overall, we were very impressed with the Taco Moto SX1 GET ECU single track map. The bike ran flawlessly from idle speed all the way up to redline. A quick twist of the throttle resulted in a smooth but powerful response from the engine. Even when bogging her down on steep hill climbs, she just kept pulling hard. I am very happy with the SX1 GET ECU and the Taco Moto team’s single track map. Stay tuned for more videos coming soon!

The LS based small-block engine is the primary V-8 used in General Motors’ line of rear-wheel-drive cars and trucks. Introduced in January 1995, it is a “clean sheet” design with only rod bearings, lifters, and bore spacing in common with the longstanding Chevrolet small block V8 that preceded it as the basis for GM small-block V8s. The basic LS variations use cast iron blocks, while performance editions are all aluminum with cast iron cylinder liners. The LS small-block has been manufactured in three Generations – III, IV, and V – with preceding Generations I and II of modular GM small-block engines having been based on the Chevrolet small-block V8 originally designed in 1955.
